Hi, to have it back-ported it needs a couple of things...
1) A fix in current dev (which you have) 2) A bug in quantal raised (which may exist, but needs a bug number). 3) Follow the SRU reporting[1]. Especially the part about how to update the bug in readiness for the SRU team to follow it. If the 'I's are dotted and the 'T's crossed it will get in much faster. Remember, lots of bugs want to be SRU'd... only a finite number of SRU people... They will be able to act much faster if you've done that. I'm a QA / testing person, and whilst familiar with the theory I have never followed an SRU from start to finish (I was chasing up the Chromium Updates which has now been taken back 'in-house'). However, I have found that the duty SRU person [2] to always be willing to take a bit of time out to explain how you are doing and what still needs to happen. I hope that the above is helpful.
