You should only get English spell checking if you have English as the Default Language for Documents. I have the Welsh language packs for Ubuntu and the libreoffice-l10n-cy package which pull in all the Welsh for the interface descriptions. Unfortunately, aspell-cy will not give you Welsh spell checking in LO but it will in gedit text editor! So you could write stuff in the text editor, correct the spelling, and copy into LO - OK, rather a dumb suggestion. Tony
