The CompTIA Linux + is the same 2 exams as for LPIC and NCLA, the only
difference is if you take anyone of the last 2 you only get that cert,
if you opt for CompTIA you get the option to ask for the other 2 certs,
the exams are exactly the same for all 3.

CompTIA is partnered with LPI now
http://certification.comptia.org/getCertified/certifications/linux.aspx

Objectives and topics for each of the 2 exams here:

LX0-101

http://www.comptia.org/global/Libraries/DE-Docs/CompTIA_Linux_Powered_by_LPI_LX0_101.sflb.ashx

LX0-102

http://www.comptia.org/global/Libraries/DE-Docs/CompTIA_Linux_Powered_by_LPI_LX0_102.sflb.ashx

If you take and successfully pass both of the above exams you get
awarded CompTIA Linux +, Linux Professional Institute Certification
Level 1 and Novell Certified Linux Administrator.
