As most people on here I love Ubuntu and promote it where I can, another
thing I love however is RUGBY no not Ruby! When there is a match on the
TV I tweet it for folks I follow to join in the rants/discussions on how
the game is going, but also on IRC. I am also a firm believer that any
community is based upon people who have other interests outside of
Ubuntu/OSS want to meet up and discuss other things and not just go to
conferences.
Funny you should say that, Paul Sutton (who is a member on here) is
involved with his local Rugby club and often goes to away games with
them and posts reguarly to ask if anyone is likely to go to the game
that he is at. I'm not sure if his local Rugby club tend to just cover
the South West area (he's based in Paignton) or what but maybe other
Ubuntu-UK members which go to live games might be interested in maybe
meeting up with Paul if he's going to any of your local games :-)
