Unless you have the wi-fi chip that became a problem after a Kernel upgrade .... sorry, don't exactly know which one. May be some info on the forums. I am going to look through any old kernels I've saved, and try to find where the problem starts if I can. I've got to find out before next month as I have the problem! It is that you can log on to some wi-fi transmitters, and not to others ... It's really enigmatic and bothersome. Now I know the make and model of one hub which WON'T work, I might just go out and spend my £25 to buy one and investigate .... Discovered the nature of the problem at OpenSource Expo ....
