I just received the latest PC Pro magazine, issue 198, April 2011.
And the front cover is completely dominated by UBUNTU! It promises a complete guide to Ubuntu and features a large Ubuntu logo. Inside 10 full pages are devoted to installing Ubuntu, and adding in extra software and getting the most out of it, although I have not read the feature yet.
Pretty impressive that Ubuntu is now going mainstream amongst the previously very pro-Microsoft press.
I listen regularly to their podcast, and it seems lately that in every episode someone mentions Ubuntu, as well as seeing more and more a mention here and there in the printed magazine. They still mostly focus on Windows users and also computer hardware, but nice to see that Ubuntu is becoming a real alternative to Windows or Mac for a lot more people.
