The printer in question, an HP P1505n, is connected to a router by a cable as is a laptop running Ubuntu 10.04. Several months ago the printer was set up and working using the laptop and, in addition, was working wirelessly with a desktop machine running Windows XP Pro and wirelessly with another desktop machine running Ubuntu 9.10. A few weeks ago both of the Ubuntu machines would not print files and, despite trying all the tests I can find, I have been unable to sort out how to put things right. Two days ago I set up another desktop machine running Windows XP Pro which is happily printing files wirelessly.
