I am interested in purchasing a computer based on your Quote Reference
361181. I will be installing Ubuntu Linux 10.04 LTS. I don't suppose
you are able to comment on this? I believe that the mainboard I have
specified is compatible.
My big question is that looking on your site, I see no references to
Linux; only Windows. Is there going to be any problem with regard to
warranty on hardware because I am using Linux as the operating system?
Up to now, I have been using Dell as my main source for equipment. Dell
UK has now ceased supplying Linux-ready home computers, and is unwilling
to supply equipment with no installed operating system, so I am looking
for an alternative to Dell, and I understand that you have a good
reputation for support.
