On the joggler wiki (http://www.jogglerwiki.info but seems to be down at the mo), there was a discussion about replacing the *plastic* heat-sink with something a bit more substantial using a dremel and a metal heat-sink from Farnell IIRC. I think this may well be the main cause of reliability issues.
