Heyhey fancy people, I've decided to go wireless this year as I'm moving into a new house (and sticking holes in the walls for Ethernet isn't an option), so I'm looking for a wireless N card. Has anyone got one, or know of one that just works out of the box on Ubuntu 10.04 (64 bit)? I'd prefer a PCI card than a USB card, and one that doesn't need that .. wrapper thing that I forget the name of, but is kind of like having WINE running the driver for the card.
I heard a while back Broadcom (I think) were going to release Wireless N drivers for Linux, but I haven't heard anything since. If anyone can give me any advice on a good card to choose, it'd be smashing. Also, I'm running away out of the country for a week, so I won't reply after today for a while. Cheers, Simon Wears http://MunkyJunky.com
