The podcast team were sent a mockup for the podcast site by a listener a while ago. In general we liked it, and the designer (without prompting) went off and created an initial go at the html, css and so on. I quite like it. He even redesigned our podcast logo, which is pretty cool.
http://popey.com/~alan/podcast_mockup.png http://popey.com/~alan/UUPC/ We haven't switched to it yet because we (podcast team) are in our usual state of deliberating whether to switch to a completely different website engine for the podcast. This happens when wordpress or podpress (that we currently use) breaks in some way, we get miffed and decide to throw it out. Some work has been done to create a replacement site engine, but that's not complete, and I dont know if it ever will be. So we never put the above in place because we didn't want to duplicate effort. I have asked Andrew (who created the above mockup) if he'd be interested in doing a mockup for the main site too. So that would be cool to throw in with all the other mockups people have come up with! Seems people are really keen to update our web presence! Great stuff.
