Well it did and it didn't. I completely removed everything and followed the instructions on the link that you posted. It worked to a certain extent - for example, the flash on Adobe's Flashplayer website worked fine, but I still kept having problems with iPlayer and YouTube. I gave up because it was getting to be too annoying. Today, however, everything seems to work perfectly.
