I have a crunchbang machine here and i use this script to mount my Freecom NAS drive;
#!/bin/bash # Script to mount network drive echo 0 > /proc/fs/cifs/LinuxExtensionsEnabled mount -t cifs //192.168.0.2/Shared ~/HomeShare -o username=curtis So I would say that this is something to do with lack of memory or swap perhaps? Hows your memory settings?
