I had a play with a few ARM based computers at the last UDS and on the podcast we interviewed very nice man from Freescale (who manufacture ARM-based chips). There's certainly an opportunity for ARM to take over somewhat this year I hope there are plenty of brave manufacturers willing to take the leap away from x86. The prospect of many tens of hours of battery life coupled with HD video playback and a familiar (to me) interface means I'm somewhat holding back on buying a new laptop until much later in the year.
