I use TinyMCE in the CMS that we have developed at work, I also run ubuntu at work. Pasting in to TinyMCE works fine, I copy right click paste. Do you have the paste icon available in the toolbar, if not can you not right click paste. if no, you do not have the extension for this functionality enabled for TimyMCE, this maybe due to when pasting into Tiny MCE there is the issue of using characters that are not suported in the webpages character set, ie ` backticks if pasting from word can cause problems. So the developer may have opted not to allow you to paste. However in the lastest version of TinyMCE I understand from http://wiki.moxiecode.com/index.php/TinyMCE:Plugins/paste that this is no longer an issue. Hope that helped Ant -- ubuntu-uk@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-uk https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UKTeam/
