Hello, Steve

Do you mean this?

http://blog.thomas-lauria.de/archives/9-Mozilla-Lightning-1.0b1-for-Thunderbird-3-on-linux-amd64.html

I'm running the 64-bit version of Karmic (9.10), but I'm a bit nervous
about committing to TB3 with an unofficial build of Lightning for my
calendar because I rely on it! So, I'm sticking with TB2+Lightning 0.9

Thanks for the heads up about the 64-bit version of Lightning 1, but
from what I've read in the 0.9 release notes it looks like Lightning
will become part of TB3:

"Lightning 0.9 is intended to be the last release for the Thunderbird 2
series. For the future we are planning to integrate Lightning fully into
the upcoming Thunderbird 3 release"

Bye,

   Tony.
