I have seen it for free on a £35/mo contract with a pretty decent usage allowance, and I suspect that an existing customer could get that down somewhat. I pay a fiver less a month for my N95 8GB. The Sim free price is comparable to other high end phones, for the functionality you get. The size doesn't bother me too much as I currently carry the N95 and an N800 around, so combining them both is pretty much perfect. I'm just waiting for it to arrive now.
