Hi Rob, I'm quite happy to print from the Vista machine.
Got quite used to it, in fact, over the past 10+ years that I've been using Linux. I have a Samba share etc. on the Vista machine so it's not at all difficult to whip files to and fro between Linux and Windows. Just wondered if anybody had any creative ideas regarding the Lexmark. And, yes, I tried the network search thing but it didn't find anything so presumably the Lexmark doesn't "emit the correct type of sound", metaphorically speaking.
