I downloaded a supposedly "working" vmware image from a certain Swedish filesharing network and tried to run it in a virtual machine but had no luck at all - as it was only a bit of fun trying to make it work I gave up fairly quickly so perhaps had I continued I'd have got somewhere, but I didn't seem to be able to make any progress at all. Something about wrong filesystem types or similar, if my memory serves me right. A while ago.
