No you can't I'm afraid. Most consumer broadband is called ADSL and is "Asynchronous" and the modem at the customer's end has to talk to something called a DSLAM at your local telephone exchange. That's as far as the broadband modulated signal goes. It terminates at the DSLAM and is then IP over SDH or ATM from that point forward. To be honest, if you shop around, I think you could find a capped broadband deal that would be cheaper than dial-up. Most ISPs are phasing out dial-up all together so in a year or so you won't have much of a choice anyway.
