You seem rather confused - along with a lot of other people! It is *all* Google code, Google engineers designed it, programmed it and built it. "Chrome" is the finished browser for Windows; "Chromium" is the underlying code which is also being developed on Linux and Mac OS X. An official release is only available on Windows (v1 final, v2 is in beta) but the pre-alpha code for Linux now builds into something that does work to a limited extent. That is what I am trying to install. Yes, Codeweavers have a version of the Windows build compiled with WINE, but why bother when there is a native version? -- Liam Proven • Profile: http://www.linkedin.com/in/liamproven Email: lpro...@cix.co.uk • GMail/GoogleTalk/Orkut: lpro...@gmail.com Tel: +44 20-8685-0498 • Cell: +44 7939-087884 • Fax: + 44 870-9151419 AOL/AIM/iChat/Yahoo/Skype: liamproven • LiveJournal/Twitter: lproven MSN: lpro...@hotmail.com • ICQ: 73187508 -- ubuntu-uk@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-uk https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UKTeam/
