When I say DNS appears to have stopped working, what I mean is that
this is what happens as I connect to the wireless network

temp...@jonah:~$ ping www.google.co.uk
ping: unknown host www.google.co.uk
temp...@jonah:~$ ping www.google.co.uk
ping: unknown host www.google.co.uk
temp...@jonah:~$ ping www.google.co.uk
PING www.l.google.com (209.85.227.103) 56(84) bytes of data.
64 bytes from 209.85.227.103: icmp_seq=1 ttl=244 time=33.3 ms
>From Jonah.local (192.168.0.42) icmp_seq=44 Destination Host Unreachable
>From Jonah.local (192.168.0.42) icmp_seq=45 Destination Host Unreachable
>From Jonah.local (192.168.0.42) icmp_seq=46 Destination Host Unreachable

The router I and using currently is:

D-Link Model DGL-4300
And it says it has the latest firmware version, 1.8, 2007/03/01

Hope that helps.

Thanks,

Toby.
