Hi folks,

Just wanted to quickly post a link to some pictures from the Exwick
Community Centre open day where we finally got to demonstrate the LTSP
kit (well two out of 6 clients).

In the end it all went fairly well, I put the server in and it worked
first time. The machines were mainly used by the kids at the open day
but a couple of the parents sat down and got to grips with Ubuntu really
quickly and started playing the Gnome games and the kids, well they
simply fired up Firefox and started playing some flash games.

We did manage to give away a couple of Ubuntu CDs to visitors (Ubuntu
8.04.1 which is all we had on the day)
and I fired up Ubuntu on my notebook to demonstrate some of the features.

All in all it was a positive experience. I'm hoping we can have a more
official press launch in a couple of weeks when the remainder of the
clients have been installed (they are in custom built cabinets which
weren't entirely finished at the time).

Anyway, a few pictures can be found here: http://tinyurl.com/exwickltsp
