Sounds like a good idea as long as it isn't just limited to laptops. For instance I run a computer business in Devon and mainly provide IT services but I can provide new, refurbished and second user PC systems with or without an OS, and I have Windows and Ubuntu (and other Linux) offerings with the Linux offerings generally being about £60 cheaper (due to no Windows licence requirement). Unfortunately I can't really supply laptops any cheaper than the big suppliers, but I do however offer free delivery and installation to customers in the local area (which I have found with some users who aren't really clued up on things like that find handy).
