Hi Seif If I can add my two cents. I had a problem with my machine a while ago to do with the onboard SATA controller. I had semi frequent crashes (in both win & lin), and after a month or two of this the hard drive would give up. A reformat would bring it back to life. Anyway, you may try going to the motherboard manufacturers page and see if there are any bios updates, and this solved my problem.
