Hi Mac, You can always "Subscribe" to a bug, then Launchpad will send you an email when the bug is updated. That way, you can see what is happening to it and don't need the trial-and-error approach to seeing if it's fixed. There's a button about halfway down the right side of the bug report that will let you subscribe or unsubscribe. Hope this helps.
