The ones on the Carphone Warehouse website are Windows XP. Still waiting to see if the Ubuntu ones go online at some point. Can't imagine them being terribly popular, of the two "free" laptops on the Carphone Warehouse site they are the worst spec, slower CPU, half the RAM and no Optical Drive. Also only has one option for 3G at the moment (Orange) where as the "free" Vista Laptop has a choice of 5 providers. The XP version on the web is currently £249 to buy standalone, will be interesting to see if this remains the same when it becomes Ubuntu.
