I don't think you should be discouraged from posting, but it would help if you could keep related questions in the same thread, as that will make it easier for those who don't want to read it, to ignore it. Also, do your own research first. I know it is always easier, and quicker to just ask, but working things out for yourself will mean it sticks in your head better. Added to that, people will find it much easier to help someone who has at least tried to help them self. Regarding the advocacy bit, I think it is good for the community when someone who is a complete novice comes along, and requests a beating with the clue stick once in a while. It is easy to forget how hard it was for us to learn, and others who are not so brave to ask questions will benefit from reading the threads.
