Well I've had a play with it. It seems the £3.50 charge is for the Internet Channel (for those who don't know what it is, it's the Opera Browser for the Wii). I gave it a try and it looked like it did on the web based iPlayer on Linux. I couldn't get it completely full screen and the video stream wasn't as smooth as watching a video file on my PC. All in all I'm not overly excited about it. It's in a way like Youtube but with just BBC programmes on it.
