As has been said before, you need a 4G model to upgrade the RAM, it's just a normal 'one screw to undo' RAM upgrade. As to the SDD upgrade, some models have a spare mini-pci slot, but the cheapest way is to buy a 4GB SD card from Play.com for £9.99 delivered and plug in into the side SD slot... and you've got 8GB of storage...
