Hmm.. was it a large software vendor which has something to do with Voles and the sign of the beast? A recent spotting I had was on a work colleague's laptop (I say colleague, he actually works at Bristol and I'm based in Exeter). Anyway, he was configuring a new wan connection for us, I couldn't help but noticing the familiar brown windows. It made me feel better I wasn't sure if I was 'officially' allowed to install Ubuntu on my work laptop, but I figured that since he dual boots Ubuntu then it must be okay. I've also got some brownie points today from my boss for recovering a whole load of data off his home PC's hard drive - using Xubuntu :-) (wouldn't work in XP). Other than that, I had a comment from Chris at SVP about the webcam they're giving away when you spend over £30 which happens to work on Ubuntu, but since I commented on it I don't think it counts.
