I'm not having much luck with it. I've tried 3 webcams, all don't display an image in Skype. I select Options, Video Devices, and then click Test and all I get is a black box. The camera is detected (Quickcam Messenger) but I don't get an image :-( Not sure if it's me too, but it looks like only Video for Linux 1 devices are supported (which means my Twinklecam doesn't work as it's a V4L2 device). Anyone else seen this? I've tried the Skype forums and it mentions all sorts about Xv which as far as I know is enabled, trying another driver (gscpa) and I don't seem to be getting anywhere.
