Just realised this hasn't been announced on our mailing list.. https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuOpenWeek
Ubuntu Open Week is a series of online workshops where you can: * learn about the Ubuntu landscape * talk to some of the key developers from the Ubuntu project * find out about the Community and its relationship with Canonical * participate in an open Q&A with Mark Shuttleworth, the founder of Ubuntu * much more... Fire up your IRC clients (irssi / xchat / xchat-gnome / pidgin / gaim) and point them to the Ubuntu (freenode) Servers - irc.freenode.net, then join #ubuntu-classroom and #ubuntu-classroom-chat. #ubuntu-classroom is where the tuition goes on, and -chat is where you ask questions and generally have a good old chat. It's a great idea, and I'm happy to be part of it. I'm giving a session today about Launchpad Answers, and another one on Thursday about something called screencasting (whatever that is). Maybe see you there. Cheers, Al.
