Best way to send errors to the list! No excusing necessary. Have you tried this brand of DVD+RW before, in this drive? Has it previously worked. DVD drivers are sometimes picky about which media they will allow in the drive - I had a NEC drive that wouldn't write to any TDK discs. I reflashed it with updated drivers and the DVD writing borked totally, although it would still write CDs - go figure! I've now replaced it with a LG drive, which is much less picky.
