I have just purchased a piece of hardware to replace my Ralink Wireless card which my sister claims has broken as my laptop refuses to light up to show that it is trying to look for a network connection, I think the card gave up the ghost recently as even the people at Hudlug could not get a search for a connection at Voxbar when connecting to the wireless router there. The device I now have is a USB stick. Should this be supported under Ubuntu? I ask as I have not been able to find any documentation which might tell me if USB sticks for wireless are supported. I tried to look for an installation guide only the one I have marked the URL for is for Ubuntu 6 and the documnetation I could find seemed only seemed to mention wireless cards.
