Following on from Norm's fun and games with reverting back to an earlier kernal.
When a bug like this is detected, and the individual believes that it is a kernal one, I'm talking generally here not specifically Norm's problem - where should that individual correctly raise the bug report; against the distro or direct to the kernal? Combination hardware eg printer, scanner, copier all seem to work it's only scanners on their own that do not.
