The reason for calling it Ubuntu over Ubuntu Linux was mainly for
avoiding the whole Linux - GNU/Linux argument. It was also for
simplicity and marketing reasons. The domain name of ubuntulinux.com
was considered a mistake and corrected promptly. Interestingly,
no-name-yet.com (the domain used for early development) still
redirects to ubuntu.com!
