I need to configure dial up (to waitrose.com) (note1) using my external serial connected modem. Using kubuntu kppp is offered, and I can get as far as apparently the point where the waitrose machine is authenticating - I think, but then a kppp error occurs.
Is anyone out there actually using dial up - maybe to waitrose? What logs should I be looking at (and where?) to see what is going on?
