  kernel-source-*  are legacy packages imported from Debian.  You DON'T want
                   these.

  linux-source-*   are Linux sources as shipped by Ubuntu.  Ubuntu has only
                   ever shipped 2.6 kernels, these ARE what you want.

The same aplies to 'linux-image-*';  this naming change has now been carried
over into Debian proper so the 'kernel-*' stuff is there mainly to support
migration and dist-upgrades from an already installed Debian machine.

Hopefully that'll get you sorted!
