Yup. Hotel and Eurostar booked. A few (10+) of us from HantsLUG (and one interloper from WatfordLUG) are going "together". I say "together" in quotes because we have booked to go to the same place at the same time via the the same means of transport, we're not sharing a room or owt odd like that. Despite what Jono may tell you about us Southerners. > The Ubuntu-be people will be having a booth, and perhaps meetings and meals. > https://wiki.ubuntu.com/BelgianTeam/Fosdem2007 The bigger the group the harder it is to get somewhere to eat - and indeed drink! I went the last two years and if you go in a big gang some restaurants have difficulty fitting you in. That said of course if anyone is coming on their own or for the first time (or both) then they can certainly tag along with us during the day. It's always great to see a familiar face out there, you'd be surprised how many people from the UK go! Oh and some logistics info. The Novotel Tour Noire [0] does an okay room rate and is fairly close to the centre of the city, that's where we are staying. The Eurostar works out at £79 quid return from Waterloo to Brussels Midi. We're going out lunchtime Friday and back Sunday evening. Oh and if you see me attempting to buy books from Josette from O'Reilly then please stop me. She has me in a perpetual hypnotic trance which forces me to buy her books every time I see her. It's getting expensive on book shelves alone! Cheers, Al. [0] http://www.novotel.com/novotel/fichehotel/gb/nov/2122/fiche_hotel.shtml
