I'm sure a talk like this will be of interest to many. Thomas Thurman has been involved with compositing metacity recently, and I think Soeren Sandmann wrote the original code. I don't know who's involved with beryl/compiz. It'd be cool if you could email guadec-list@gnome.org with your suggestions...
