I have already tried and failed because istanbul needs a few dependancies I think that do not seem to get installed when I use the Kubuntu clicky install approach. It does work (!) but only for a few seconds, looking a bit like it cannot handle the memory or something.I do not know enough to satisfy yth e dependency needs in the limited time I have just now, and I cannot see the other apps for screencast in the K/Ubuntu programs or apps lists etc, though I would like to have a go myself. > Out of interest, as a KDE user am I excluded from producing this (or > should I start doing Kubuntu-specific ones?) yes please I mostly prefer Kubuntu even though kde is a bit overweight. > Do we want more than one > voice?
