I am trying to get antialiasing working on my laptop for an emacs GUI
generated from an ssh X session on a computer at work.
Does anybody know if it is possible to have such thing workng? Can
antialiasing be achieved for programs running on other computers,
where no antialiased font server exists?
You could set your Xserver to talk to a remote font server perhaps? And of course get your remote font server to listen for external connections too (note that this may impact on your security, so use iptables as well if necessary).
