Well I'm certainly not bothered about it being pretty, I'll be redoing all the CSS anyway. Have you tried Drupal? I could do with the opinion of someone who's used both!

For me there's not a CMS that comes close to Xoops. Granted, out of the box it's not as pretty, but it's powerful, and you can do anything with it pretty much!
