I know the feeling, I'm in yr10 at a school in Warrington, NW, and I'm trying to convert people too. Giving out the free CDs is always good, I take it they're the 5.10 (Breezy Badger) version. Make sure you get some Dapper ones ordered.
I can't quite remember, but isn't Edubuntu aimed at primaries?
