Hello Enrique,

1. I am trying to review the translations of the new installer at
https://hosted.weblate.org/projects/ubuntu-desktop-translations/

There is a facility to "approve" the translations.
Can you assign me as Reviewer for the Greek language?
https://hosted.weblate.org/user/simos/
I am the team coordinator for Greek, https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-l10n-el

2. The existing new translations (unapproved due to #1) are not found
in the Ubuntu 26.04 Beta ISO.
I just installed and tried the beta ISO.
Is there a new Daily ISO that will get these translations so that I
can verify them?

3. There is a critical bug in the installer that affects many
languages. Those languages that the keyboard layout
does not have Latin characters. That is, anything Cyrillic, Greek,
Arabic are affected.
The installer, for the duration of the installation, will configure a
single keyboard layout.
When the system is rebooted, you get the usual two keyboard layouts
and you can switch from one to another.
However, when you want to type your username or the name of your
computer (hostname), you cannot do so
because only Latin characters are accepted.
I blogged about it,
https://blog.simos.info/ubuntu-installer-selects-a-single-keyboard-layout-cannot-type-english-during-installation/
I wrote about it on Discourse.
I added more context on the two Github issues about this issue.
There has been no activity on this.

The result of this is that most users will give up on installing
Ubuntu using a localisation.

Note that even Ubuntu 24.04 LTS is affected.
