Hello! Many thanks for the reminder. I noticed that language-pack-oc-base and language-pack-gnome-oc-base are not updated where the same package without the -base in the name are often updated thanks to Gunnar intervention. Other remark: the links in the wiki are pointing to Groovy not impish.

UserInterfaceFreeze for Ubuntu 21.10 happened yesterday. It means that translatable strings in the default packages for the desktop and applications won't change unless "absolutely necessary". Possible exceptions will be announced here and need to be approved by the release team. So this is a good time to take a look at the Ubuntu translations. The NonLanguagePackTranslationDeadline [1] is on September 30, and the LanguagePackTranslationDeadline [2] is on October 7. Let me take this opportunity to mention the highly visible Ubuntu Software. While it's based on gnome-software, which is well translated into many languages, Ubuntu Software is made available as a snap and includes several additional strings which can be translated here: https://translations.launchpad.net/snap-store-desktop [1] https://wiki.ubuntu.com/NonLanguagePackTranslationDeadline [2] https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LanguagePackTranslationDeadline -- Gunnar Hjalmarsson https://launchpad.net/~gunnarhj -- ubuntu-translators mailing list ubuntu-translators@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-translators -- ubuntu-translators mailing list ubuntu-translators@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-translators
