Hi translators, As some of you might know, this week is OpenWeek:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuOpenWeek
As such, we've got quite a lot of interesting sessions lined up that are
mostly focused to beginners, although everyone can learn a bit from all
sessions.
Translations are featured this time as well, and I wanted to point you
out to the Best Practices for Translation Teams session at 14:00 UTC
today. This will be focused at new translation teams, so if you have
recently started a new team or are planning to do so, come along and
participate, I'm sure you'll find it useful.
If you are a member of a team with already established practices, it
might also be useful to tell us more about them on the Q&A part of the
session at the end.
I hope to see you all there!
By the way, I'd like to take the opportunity to thank again Andrej
Žnidaršič (andrejz) from the Slovenian team and Kenneth Nielsen (TLE)
from the Danish team for stepping up for me on the session on Tuesday. I
failed to see the overlapping with the session with Bank holiday here
and I was not there to run the session.
Andrej and Kenneth jumped in to take care of the session and they just
rocked at it [1].
That's community!
Regards,
David.
