Renaming is a task for Natty. > sugar-sliderpuzzle-activity [green] > sugar-turtleart-activity [green] This will be in sid and maverick once the "turtleart" package is accepted from Debian NEW. At which point, we'll want a sync from Debian. > Same in SID and Maverick > sugar-connect-activity [green] > sugar-jigsawpuzzle-activit [green] > sugar-memorize-activity [green] > sugar-physics-activity [green] > sugar-pippy-activity [green] > sugar-terminal-activity [green] > sugar-write-activity-0.86 [green] > > Same version, but Maverick has local change > sugar-calculate-activity [green] > sugar-chat-activity-0.86 [green] > sugar-read-activity-0.86 [red] Fails to start. Before removal, is it feasible to work with upstream to merge in the fixed evince branch, or to port those changes over to the Read package in Ubuntu? https://launchpad.net/bugs/623726 and http://bugs.sugarlabs.org/ticket/1900 are the relevant tickets. > **Sync Request done. You put this in "Sync Request done", yet I couldn't find a sync request for these two. I think we discussed and determined we won't sync this before Natty (Ubuntu 11.04) so we don't have to carry a transitional package for too many releases. > In the attach deb file for closing LP bug#624592[2] I have dropped > sugar-read-activity-0.86. That's right. We might consider adding it as a "Suggests", however. > As Maverick is in Future Freeze state, what is advisable:- > > - Add one patch with the listed activities(Green) as dependency and then > add second patch whenever other activities(Brown) becomes available in > Maverick. > - Wait for the activities to get released and then add single batch. As long as the "brown" activities get processed before Final Freeze, September 16th (and it is likely you're able to still get your changes in, so a day or two before that), I don't see why we shouldn't just do it in one batch. > - Or I should not worry and list the activities(Brown) as dependency as > sooner or later they will get released as FF'e sync request for these > activities are accepted. The only problem I see here that build might fail > on LP if this patch gets accepted and released before those activities. That would work, except it'd break daily builds of USR which rely on the ubuntu-sugar-remix package, and prevent upgrades for anybody on Maverick who was using that package. So I'd wait before the syncs have all been handled by an Archive Administrator. > [1] https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/etoys/+bug/507093/comments/3 > [2] https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/sugar-0.88/+bug/624592 > > Regards > Neeraj > > > For quick install of these activities use this command. > sudo apt-get install sugar-flipsticks-activity sugar-logviewer-activity > sugar-pollbuilder-activity sugar-sliderpuzzle-activity > sugar-turtleart-activity sugar-connect-activity sugar-jigsawpuzzle-activity > sugar-memorize-activity sugar-physics-activity sugar-pippy-activity > sugar-terminal-activity sugar-write-activity-0.86 sugar-calculate-activity > sugar-chat-activity-0.86 > -- ╒═════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╕ │Luke Faraone ╭Debian / Ubuntu Developer╮│ │http://luke.faraone.cc ╰Sugar Labs, Systems Admin╯│ │PGP: 5189 2A7D 16D0 49BB 046B DC77 9732 5DD8 F9FD D506 │ ╘═════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╛
