Hi,

try https://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1661254 if it shouldn't
solve the issue, read other links provided by
https://www.google.de/search?source=hp&ei=x2RSW5uFFsHikgWL15OQAg&q=grub-install%3A+warning%3A+Sector+32+is+already+in+use+by+the+program+%E2%80%98FlexNet%E2%80%99&oq=grub-install%3A+warning%3A+Sector+32+is+already+in+use+by+the+program+%E2%80%98FlexNet%E2%80%99&gs_l=psy-ab.3...1306.1306.0.1679.1.1.0.0.0.0.71.71.1.1.0....0...1c..64.psy-ab..0.0.0....0.lPuRUvhjPCU

You did not type the password, while by accident caps lock was pushed?
If not try
https://askubuntu.com/questions/24006/how-do-i-reset-a-lost-administrative-password
 or
https://www.howtogeek.com/howto/linux/reset-your-forgotten-ubuntu-password-in-2-minutes-or-less/
 .
You could find help for such common issues by investing the few seconds
you need to copy and paste an error message or by typing a few search
terms,
e.g.
https://www.google.de/search?ei=2mZSW6KyO8_bwQLE_7f4Bg&q=linux+forgot+password&oq=linux+forgot+password&gs_l=psy-ab.3..0l2j0i22i30k1l8.39962.53543.0.53959.29.23.4.2.3.0.77.1509.23.23.0....0...1c.1.64.psy-ab..0.29.1541...0i67k1j0i10k1.0.YavSb60AN5g
 .

Sometimes a novice can't know adequate search terms, e.g.
https://www.google.de/search?ei=3WhSW9bILtDSwALEx4OoBQ&q=linux+reset+password+by+chroot&oq=linux+reset+password+by+chroot&gs_l=psy-ab.3..0i22i30k1l4.7759.17122.0.17322.16.16.0.0.0.0.137.1343.14j2.16.0....0...1c..64.psy-ab..0.16.1335...0j0i7i30k1j33i22i29i30k1.0.3tJc67BFmqk
. But you should have been able to get the search terms of the other Google
searches yourself.

So you would get this method, the one I recommend to use:
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/reset_root_password#Change_root

Or this one, see "When you can’t use GRUB" of
https://www.makeuseof.com/tag/how-to-reset-any-linux-password/ .

However, the chroot or systemd-nspawn approach isn't required, if you
follow the Arch Wiki.

Regards,
Ralf
